Ian's Kitcar Website

Welcome to my Web Page. I am the proud owner of a Mk2 GTM Rossa kitcar which I built myself. Although I am an electronics design engineer, I found that no special skills were needed to build the kit. Prior to building the Rossa, I had dabbled in home DIY and car maintainance. Obviously, the more tools you have access to, the easier the job becomes, but to start off with all you really need is basic DIY tools (electric drill, files, chisels, etc), somewhere to work and the occasional helping hand.... oh yes and plenty of time! If I can build a kitcar, so can you!

If you think you can do it and you've found your dream car, the next thing to do is join the relevant owner's club. The owner's club members will be able to give you honest opinions about the cars, tell you about any tricky stages of the build and offer advice if you get into difficulties. If you're interested in building a GTM, the GTM Owner's Club is the one to join.

I am also a member of the North East Kit Car Club. This is open for all makes of kit car in the North East of England.
